She gained her title in March 2005, produced a litter of beautiful puppies and was back in the show ring winning again in 12 weeks. One of her outstanding wins in 2005 was the Bitch Challenge at Sunbury under Mr Brian Meyer (USA).

Kelly gained her title in style with a Runner-Up In Show at Portland Championship Show in early October (2005). She has been awarded many Class In Group and Class In Show prizes from Baby puppy through to Open. Still a youngster we believe her best is yet to come. Always a dream to show Kelly topped off 2006 going Reserve Challenge Bitch at the Boxer Association of Victoria (BAOV) Championship Show and Reserve Challenge Bitch at the 2006 Melbourne Royal Show. Starting 2007 with a flourish Kelly won another Runner-Up In Show before winning a strong Open Bitch Class at the 2007 BAOV Championship Show and then gaining her Grand Championship at Victorian Womens Dogs Club, followed the next day with a huge Best of Breed at Sunbury Canine Show.Kelly will be mated to Fletcher (Champion Kesdar Riding High) late 2008.

Nikki has lived up to the early promise she showed as a baby. She has multiple Class in Show awards from Baby Puppy, Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior and now Intermediate classes. Add to that a Best in Group and Runner Up in Group both from Junior class. At the tender age of 7 months she won her first challenge under a Boxer Specialist and gained her title at 18 months of age. Nikki is very high spirited and loves to have an audience - all we need to do is try and keep her under control!

Jackson wins Intermediate Dog Class - Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show 9 August 2008 under renowned breed specialist Mrs Ferelith Somerfield (Panfield Boxers - UK)!

Jackson had a sensational start to his show career with two Baby Puppy in Shows, one under a Boxer specialist, at his first weekend out. Jackson gained his Australian Championship in style at just 18 months of age with his last 2 Challenges under Boxer Specialists. To date he has won 17 Class in Group Awards and 5 Class in Show Awards. Jackson is a real show-off who enjoys being the centre of attention, his ring presence is reminiscent of his mother, Champion Kesdar Canterbury Tales, while his beautiful strength and bone are attributes he has inherited from his father, Champion Kesdar Riding High.

Jackson's new daughter, Kesdar Kausin Applause will debut in late August 2008.

"Maxi"

Sire: Aust. Ch. Kesdar Riding High
Dam: Aust. Ch. Kesdar Canterbury Tales
Whelped: 2 June 2006

Maxi is an absolute dynamo! She is into everything and everyone at a hundred miles and hour, barely stopping to catch her breath. She has Challenge points and Reserve Challenge wins over Champion competition from both Minor Puppy and Puppy class. At the moment she is overshadowed by her brother, Jackson, but we are sure that once we manage to get her under control she will give him a run for his money.

Maxi has temporarily retired from the show ring with a litter due early October 2008.

On Saturday 16 August 2008 Rebel made it a hat trick - another Best Puppy in Show at the prestigious Lillydale Kennel Club Pot of Gold Championship Show - Go Rebel!

Look out world here I come! Rebel has displayed an absolute joy for life from as soon as she had sight and sound. Her tail does not stop wagging. Already a multi Baby in Group winner (seven), with one Baby in Show , Rebel can now add to her trophy table with 3 Minor in Groups. At the tender age of 8 and a half months Rebel took out her first Best of Breed (25 points) over Champion and Grand Champion boxers, adding to her tally of Reserve Challenges and RUBOB wins from Minor Puppy Class. She has taken to showing like she has with each new adventure in her short life to date– with gusto, bravery and a touch of arrogance! Rebel by name and Rebel by nature! She has inherited the lovely strength of her mum (Ch Kesdar Riding High's sister) and the stunning elegance of her young father Nike (Tonmar Just Do It). Nike is a son of the fabulous Grand Champion Tonmar Rapt In Red, a multi Best In Show winner who has stamped her name on the breed with an enviable record of wins.

Riley BOB Melbourne Royal

Australian Champion
Lambda Notta Joker
"Riley"

Sire: Ch. Beanken Martian Pilot   Dam: Lambda Leica Lass
December 1996
- October 2007

VIEW PEDIGREE (PDF)

"Riley" started is show career slowly, but by the age of 2 figured prominently in the winner's circle. Back-to-back Best In Show wins at the Boxer Association of Victoria Open Show was quickly followed by his Australian Champion title and one month later his first Royal Challenge at the Melbourne Royal Show in September 1999. His show career peaked the following year, 2000, with another Royal Melbourne Show Challenge, Best of Breed and 3rd in Group. Riley is one of only a few boxers who can boast back-to-back Melbourne Royal Challenges.

Sadly we lost our beautiful boy in October 2007. We all miss his gentle leadership. Riley sired several Australian Champions and equally as important has stamped his beautiful temperament on his progeny. His spirit and character live on at Kesdar.

Jacqui is a very sound, square, golden brindle and white bitch. Only sparingly shown she gained her title before maternal duties became a priority. Jacqui is comfortably retired and Riley's constant companion. She also makes sure the youngsters learn their manners at an early age. She has 2 Champion daughters, Angie and Maggie-May, a Grand Champion granddaughter, Kelly, and a Champion grandson, Jackson.

Jacqui sadly passed away on Sunday 3 August 2008. She is now once more beside her best mate Riley. Her character and style will live on in Kesdar boxers.

A striking fawn and white bitch, Angie has turned many heads with her showiness, attitude and ring presence. A multiple Baby, Minor and Puppy in Show winner, she achieved her first Best of Breed win, over Champion competition, at the tender age of 7 months. Taking out Puppy in Show at the Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show in April 2002 under Boxer Specialist Mrs Sandra Carter (UK) and gaining her title whilst still a Junior. Ever the extravert when on show, she is by contrast, a gentle relaxed soul at home. Angie is the proud mum of Kelly (Grand Champion), Jackson (Champion) and Maxi and is happily in retirement, content to have a run on the beach in the morning and a snooze in the afternoon.

Whelped: 4 February 1983

VIEW PEDIGREE (PDF)

Kes always figured in the placing's under international Boxer specialists. From taking Minor Puppy in Show under Pat Heath (UK) (Boxer Association of Victoria Champ Show) and again under Robert Forsyth (USA) (South Australian Boxer Club) in 1983 to Junior in Show under Sheila Cartwright (UK) in Sydney. When Sheila Cartwright returned 3 years later to judge the same show it was Kes' daughter Skatchard Summa Sky - Nicky (Ch. Tonup Angels Flight, Aust & UK Ch. Summer Shadow of Gremlin) who took out the Junior Bitch class - following in her mothers footsteps.

Unfortunately Nicky's show career was halted whilst still a Junior and sitting on 87 points due to Jen's work commitments.
