STOP PRESS Kelly wins Best of Breed 2008 Royal Melbourne Show ... Kelly wins Best In Show - Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show 9 August 2008 under renowned breed specialist Mrs Ferelith Somerfield (Panfield Boxers - UK)! Clare Tyler expertly handled Kelly to these impressive wins.
Kelly
gained her title in style with
a Runner-Up In Show at Portland
Championship Show in early
October (2005). She has been
awarded many Class In Group
and Class In Show prizes from
Baby puppy through to Open. Always
a dream to show Kelly topped
off
2006 going Reserve Challenge
Bitch at the Boxer Association
of Victoria (BAOV) Championship
Show
and Reserve Challenge Bitch
at the 2006 Melbourne Royal
Show. Starting 2007 with a
flourish Kelly won another
Runner-Up In Show before winning
a strong
Open Bitch Class at the 2007
BAOV Championship Show and
then gaining her Grand Championship at Victorian Womens Dogs Club.
Kelly thrilled us in 2008 with her Best in Show at the BAOV Championship Show under Ferelith Somerfield (UK) and then on to Melbourne Royal with another Best of Breed. Maternal duites kicked in and Kelly produced a stunning litter of babies sired by Fletcher with her beautiful daughter (Kesdar High Class) turning heads in SA with Paul and Denise Cook. Back in the ring and fighting fit she again turned it on taking out Runner Up In Show, to her kennel mate Fletcher, at the 2009 BAOV Champ Show under Breed specialist Michelle Roberts (Taswest Boxers).
Kelly has retired from the ring once more just short of 2000 points and has produced another stunning litter of babies. We hope she will return to join her new little daughter, Kesdar High Tea, for one more outing at the Boxer National in Victoria late August 2010. |

Fletcher wins Best In Show - Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show
22 August 2009 under breed specialist Michelle Roberts (Taswest Boxers - WA)!
Paul Cook (Rampid Boxers) handled Fletcher to this wonderful win.
Fletcher
has won many fans with his
beautiful movement and outgoing
personality. He has multiple
Class in Group wins from Baby
Puppy to Open. He was
Reserve Challenge dog at the
Boxer Association of Vic Champ
Show 2006. Just starting to
mature both physically and mentally,
Fletcher topped off 2007 going
Best of Breed and Group Third
at
the
2007 Royal
Adelaide Show followed by the
Dog Challenge in a strong line-up and
Runner
Up
Best of Breed, to his kennel
mate Kelly,
at Sunbury Canine Club. To
date, Fletcher has sired
several
beautiful litters, with progeny
in the show rings of Queensland,
South Australia and Victoria.
His exciting young sons, Champion
Kesdar
Royal Ascot - Jackson and Champion Kesdar Regents Park - Fletcher Junior (Fletcher Junior is owned and handled in South Australia by Joylene Cole), and Champion Tekrista Wheelinandeallin(bred, owned and handled by Terri Godfrey, Victoria) are following
in
his footsteps with many wonderful Group and Class wins.
The 2007 BAOV Championship
Show Baby puppy class winners
were both sired by Fletcher
from two different kennels. One of these fine young dogs, Tonmar Thats A Rap, is only a handful of points away from his title after taking out the Dog CC at the 2008 Melbourne Royal Show from Junior class over his dad, Fletcher (1st Open Dog) and his half brother Jackson (1st Intermediate dog and Reserve CC). Fletcher is sparingly shown now - only coming out to strutt his stuff at a handfull of major shows. |

Nikki has lived up to the early promise she showed as a baby. She has multiple Class in Show awards from Baby Puppy, Minor Puppy, Puppy, Junior and now Intermediate classes. Add to that a Best in Group and Runner Up in Group both from Junior class. At the tender age of 7 months she won her first challenge under a Boxer Specialist and gained her title at 18 months of age. Nikki is very high spirited and loves to have an audience - all we need to do is try and keep her under control!
In late August 2008 Nikki produced a beautiful litter of 8 puppies with her first Champion daughter Ch Kesdar Just A Rumour living up to the promise she showed as a baby. Nikki now has three pups from her second litter making their showing debut in 2010. Watch out for Kesdar Dream A Little Dream, Scout (staying at Kesdar), Kesdar Just Dreamin, Jordi (Sherran & Neil Howlett VIC) and Kesdar Day Dream Believer, Bronx (Cynthia Graham QLD). Bronx already has a Baby in Show and 3 Baby in Groups to his name and Scout a Baby in Group! |

STOP PRESS Rebel wins Intermediate Bitch BAOV Champ Show 2009!
Look out world here I come! Rebel has displayed an absolute joy for life from as soon as she had sight and sound. Rebel achieved the title of Australian Champion just as she turned 14 months and then, to stamp her name on it, in her next two shows she won 25 point BOB's and back-to-back Runner Up In Group Awards from Junior class under two International Boxer specialists. Rebel adds a Best In Group from Junior to her impressive tally of wins. To date she has won 25 Group and 8 In Show awards, including Best Puppy in Show at the Boxer Association of Vic 2008 Championship Show under renowned breed specialist Mrs Ferelith Somerfiled (UK) and Best Puppy in Show at the Utility Dog Club of Victoria 2008 Championship Show. She has taken to showing like she has with each new adventure in her short life to date– with gusto, bravery and a touch of arrogance! Rebel by name and Rebel by nature! She has inherited the lovely
strength of her mum (Ch Kesdar
Riding High's sister) and the
stunning elegance of her young
father Nike (Champion Tonmar Just Do

Grand Champion Tonmar Rapt
In Red, a multi Best In Show
winner who has stamped her name
on the breed with an enviable
record of wins, and a grandson of Ch Winuwuk Plane Sailing. Rebel again won her class at the Melbourne Royal Show, following on from her Puppy of Breed 2009 with First Place in the Intermediate Bitch class.

She has a delightful character and zest for life and anything new! Biscuit has taken out 4 Baby in Groups and a Baby in Show under International and local judges and first weekend in Minor she took out Minor in Group under another International judge.
Biscuit delighted everyone at Kesdar with her two back to back Best of Breeds under International judges to claim her title and become our 10th home bred Champion. STOP PRESS Yes our little trouble maker is now a Champion! Pepper wins Reserve Challenge and Puppy in Show Boxer Association of Victoria Championship Show 2009! And followed it up with Puppy of Breed and shortlisted for Puppy in Group Royal Adelaide Show 2009!
Pepper is an absolute ratbag. Loud, demanding, mischievious, fun, naughty and the most loveable little demon we have ever bred or owned! She rules the roost at Kesdar wrapping all the older dogs up in circles and making life as roudy and uncontrolled as possible. Lead training - what's that! If we can ever get her under control she may win a few hearts in the show ring. Time will tell ... or not. Watch this space for her progress. Well we guess the lead training has started to pay off. Pepper has just gone up into Minor Puppy and celebrated with her first Challenge
over Champion stock from 3 different kennels. She is still the naughtiess Boxer we have ever bred or owned, impossible to keep under control but knows just when to turn it all on! With Challenge points, Class in Show and Class in Group awards starting to add up she might be naughty but she is pretty special too. Pepper turns One on Saturday 3 October and so she will need to pull up her socks and act like an adult from here on - well I guess we can only hope! Hope pays dividends with Pepper gaining her title in style, needing only1 point she took out a 19 point Best of Breed and Junior in Show early March 2010.

Little Scout is as dynamic, naughty and mischevious as her big sister Biscuit and mum Nikki were at the same age. If there is trouble she will find it and look out big Boxer dogs I have absolutly no respect for my elders!
As always the fun bit is early lead training and Scout has proven to be a challenge like no other. One minute on her back, the next biting the lead, the next jumping up and then bunny hopping, skipping and rolling around for everyones entertainment. Please don't laugh ... it just encourages her!
One day we hope to be able to channel all that energy into the best little show dog around. Fingers crossed please as this will take a miracle!

Alli Kat is just delightful. Happy, funny, sweet, gentle, outgoing, playful. Everything a Boxer baby should be. Takes all the rough and tumble Scout dishes out without a backward step and with a lick and a tail wag thrown in for good measure.
She has the same look at me, no LOOK AT ME character as her Grand Champion mum. We just hope she keeps that same attitude in the show ring. I guess baby steps first and that means at some stage we just might have to teach her to walk on a lead and stand still for a few minutes!

A
striking fawn and white bitch,
Angie turned many heads
with her showiness, attitude
and ring presence. A multiple
Baby, Minor and Puppy in Show
winner, she achieved her first
Best of Breed win, over Champion
competition, at the tender
age of 7 months. She won Puppy in Show at the Boxer Association
of Victoria Championship Show
in April 2002 under Boxer Specialist
Mrs Sandra Carter (UK) and
gained her title whilst still
a Junior. Ever the extravert
when on show, she is by contrast,
a gentle relaxed soul at home.
Angie
is the proud mum of Kelly (Grand
Champion Kesdar High Society),
Jackson (Champion Kesdar Royal Ascot), Fletcher Junior (Champion Kesdar Regents Park) and Maxi
and
is
happily
in retirement, content to have
a run on the beach in the morning

Maggie
had a wonderful 2005 with many
wins under local, national
and international judges. She gained her title in March 2005,
produced a litter of beautiful
puppies and was back in the show ring winning again in
12 weeks. One of her outstanding
wins in 2005 was the Bitch
Challenge at Sunbury under Mr
Brian Meyer (USA). Maggie is retired and enjoys nothing more than a wild romp around the paddocks and chasing Magpies!
Maggie May is the boss at Kesdar now ... well she thinks so anyway. She is a beautiful girl who enjoys a ride in the car, a walk along the beach and a cuddle on the couch. Always the first to plead to come shopping or just walk up the Lane to get the mail. |

"Riley" started
is show career slowly, but
by the age of 2 figured prominently
in the winner's circle. Back-to-back
Best In Show wins at the Boxer
Association of Victoria Open
Show was quickly followed by
his Australian Champion title
and one month later his first
Royal Challenge at the Melbourne
Royal Show in September 1999.
His show career peaked the
following year, 2000, with another
Royal Melbourne Show Challenge,
Best of Breed and 3rd in Group.
Riley is one of only a few boxers
who can boast back-to-back
Melbourne Royal Challenges.
Sadly
we lost our beautiful boy in
October 2007. We all miss his
gentle leadership. Riley
sired several Australian
Champions and equally as important
has stamped his beautiful
temperament
on his progeny. His spirit
and character live on at Kesdar. |

Kes always figured in the placing's under international Boxer specialists. From taking Minor Puppy in Show under Pat Heath (UK) (Boxer Association of Victoria Champ Show) and again under Robert Forsyth (USA) (South Australian Boxer Club) in 1983 to Junior in Show under Sheila Cartwright (UK) in Sydney. When Sheila Cartwright returned 3 years later to judge the same show it was Kes' daughter Skatchard Summa Sky - Nicky (Ch. Tonup Angels Flight, Aust & UK Ch. Summer Shadow of Gremlin) who took out the Junior Bitch class - following in her mothers footsteps.
Unfortunately Nicky's show career was halted whilst still a Junior and sitting on 87 points due to Jen's work commitments. |
